German made clock movement set in a half round column hazelnut polished wood veneer case. This was made by famous Ludwig Furtwangler and Sohn clockmakers. The hood is removable and features a top lifting hinged door with flat glass. 
The clock dial is two part with an out brass ring with Arabic style hour numbers. The movement is solid brass and is an advanced model with quarter hour chiming. The quarter hour chime is a two bell chime while the hour is a single bell chime. The movement is stamped on the rear plate with makers trademark. The movement is powered with two brass shelled weights and a heavy brass pendulum. A key is used to wind the cables weights.
