This clock has not been serviced.Antique Swedish Mora grandfather clock. Solid pine case. Painted in a primary brown color with an applied combing technique for diagonal striped and simulated wood grain effect. The hood is one piece and is removable. This hood was designed without glass. The crown is in a traditional 3 point design. The middle section has a solid panel wood door. It is hinged with an aftermarket hinge. The date of 1866 is above the door. The two outside curved panels give it the ‘female appearance. The base is tapered and is flush to the floor. The movement will need to be serviced. It is a steel plated movement that is designed to chime on a coiled chime spring. I will need to source the chime spring, weights and custom make a pendulum.The dimensions in CM: 1.98H x .52W x.21D.
