1847 Antique Swedish Mora Grandfather Clock
 Drum headed antique Swedish Mora grandfather clock, dated 1847. This is in the curvy female styel. This is a solid pine case painted in primary brown color with small floral overlay. The hood is round without a crown. The hood door is with convex glass, steel hinged and latching hardware. The hood is removable. The middle section is narrower at the upper edge than most Mora clocks. The middle panel door features a larger pendulum viewing glass pane, is steel hinged with latching hardware. There is small floral relief above the pane and one set of initials below the pane. The same pattern is repeated on the front bottom panel.
 
The clock dial is chipped and distressed. It is painted primary in white color with black Arabic hour numerals. The clock hands are open cut brass metal. The movement is steel plated, chimes on the hour on a coiled spring mounted to the back panel.
