Tall Austrian Landhaus Grandfather Clock in the upright male style. From the late 1700’s-early 1800’s. The perfect companion clock to a female curvy Mora. The case is 2 piece and is displayed in the unpainted natural pine finish. There are 4 locking doors. 3 in the hood section and the main door in front middle section.

The hood is removable and has the 3 locking doors. The 2 side doors are for access and viewing the clock movement. Above the the 2 side doors are 2 rectangular openings for hearing the 2 oversized bells. The clock dial door provides access to the dial and the manual silencer.
 
The middle section is narrower than the top and base section. Smooth flat sides. The door is lockable and provides access to the weights and pendulum.
 
The base is a basic pedestal in style with added trim for decoration. The back panel is one piece. On the bottom of the back panel there evidence of earlier woodworm activity. I didn’t see any indication of current worm activity but as a precaution I treated the area with chemical solution.
 
The clock movement is a hand made quarter chiming movement with the chiming on massive oversized bells. These are largest pair that I have ever seen in a clock case. This is a steel plated movement and you can actually see the blacksmith hammer markings on the back plate. The clock dial is hand painted with a white center with black Roman hour numerals and Arabic numerals in 5 minutes increments around the outer ring. Below and above are multi colored flowers. At the top is the manual silencer. At the bottom edge is the clock maker “Christian Maller in Radker Spurg Fecit”.
 
The movement is powered with 3 lead cast weights. The pendulum assembly consists of the pendulum spring (refitted by me), the steel rod shaft and a heavy lead Bob. Under the Bob is the nut to regulate the time. Upwards to advance the time, downwards to retard the time.
 
The movement has been fully serviced and tested.
